SAMITA MISHRA MEMORIAL FOUNDATION FOR CANCER RESEARCH

Cases of cancer in India are increasing at an alarming rate and India stands on rank one in most number of oral cancer cases. The most common types of cancer cases seen in India are Oral Cancer, Breast Cancer and Cervix Cancer and all these can be treated if detected at an early stage. Common people can be made aware of common symptoms of Cancer so that they can go for check-ups to detect cancer cases at very early stages.

Our Approach

Cancer Awareness

Initiating more than 10,000 awareness camps in schools, colleges and workplaces.

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide and often creates fear which comes out of ignorance and misconception. Cancer Bhagao strongly believes that “Cancer is Curable, When detected Early” .Towards this goal, ICS conducts Cancer Awareness and Exhibition Programs to educate people about the key risk factors of cancer and the importance of early detection.

Providing affordable prosthetics to Cancer survivors. Providing psycho-social and community adjustment services to cancer patients. Building UGAM – a voluntary support group determined to help childhood cancer survivors to rise above all obstacles in life and be victors.
